Today, more than 7,500 community members turn to FCS each month for food, educational support and mentorship, social interaction, counseling and support.
We also play an important role as a cultural home for the Filipino Community as well as immigrants, refugees and others throughout Southeast Seattle.
Culture & Arts
Our Culture & Arts programs build a strong identification and connection to the culture and traditions of the Philippines through classes and activities around language, traditional dance, literature, music, food, events and history.
Youth Development
Our Youth Development Programs mission is to amplify the visions of young community leaders by providing beyond-school programming that nurtures youth culture and partnerships with families, schools, and BIPOC members of the community
Our vision is for young community leaders to develop their passions & find their own way to share the narrative of their community through representative leadership.We value youth leadership, access, our community, and cultural representation.
Senior Services
Senior Programs at the Filipino Community of Seattle provide resources as well as a sense of community for Seniors in the Seattle area. We serve the elderly, disabled, low income, limited English speaking, immigrant’s lives in Seattle and King County. It includes survivor/victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking, and the homeless. Our programs revolve around maintaining food security, creating educational workshops, maintaining positive mental health, and giving the opportunity for Seniors to gain friendships within the Filipino of Seattle community.

The Senior Lunch Program has been an essential part of the Filipino Community of Seattle for over 20 years, making the Filipino Community of Seattle a focal point for Seniors to socialize as well as gain knowledge. Seniors $3, Non-Seniors $5
Senior Virtual Village
Included in the Senior Membership Plan
The Senior Virtual Village aims to teach seniors about different topics such as technology, health and wellness, nutrition, and many more, as well as increase access for Seniors. Increase in access includes teaching about how to use technology, laptop computer rental, and weekly grocery trips provided by a Filipino Community of Seattle staff member.

Mental Health & Wellness Awareness Programs
The FCS Senior HUB is a program focused on improving Senior mental health. Isolation and depression is a problem among the elder population, therefore this program helps teach Seniors self care and mental health tactics in order to improve their everyday lives, as well as have mental health check-ins from FCS staff.
Innovation Learning Center
Innovation Learning Center (ILC) is a state-of-the-art computer laboratory that will be accessible to youth of Rainier Valley and beyond who are interested in robotics and STEAM programs. With a dedicated 4,900 sq. ft. space, the Innovation Learning Center will be an inspirational and education center for youth, and will be open to EVERYONE needing access to computers and technical assistance.
